Michael Barrett attempted to hit 74 home runs into the San Francisco Bay, during the 2014, 4th of July weekend.
Located in China Basin Park on the field of the Barry Bonds Giants baseball team, Michael broke the single season home run record (73), by hitting 74 regulation Major League baseballs, in 106 attempts, over the home run fence and into McCovey Cove with the use of his custom made Louisville Slugger baseball bat.
Kayak rentals were available for those wishing to retrieve the baseballs from the water.
The field is located behind the San Francisco Giant's AT&T Park at Pier 48 and overlooks McCovey Cove.
The ball park is sponsored by the Giants Community Fund, The Barry Bond's Family Foundation and Good Tidings Foundation.
